RX 5500 XT vs GTX 1660 vs RX 590 Test in 8 Games

I think its a wash between all 3 cards. i was surprised the 590 even pulled a small lead in some of the games. they all perform similarly. I would choose the card/s with more Vram.

I got a rx580 8gb sapphire but a better option would be to find a used 1070ti mini or a regular cheaper model.

The 5500 xt is not the game changer people hopped it was but if you wanted something that competed evenly with Nvidia and was more recent and power efficient for 1080p 60fps, this is a fair option, at least according to early specs, the 4gb 5500 xt performs the same as the 8gb so getting that for $170 after Christmas or New year when prices dip is a good option

The RX 570 8GB has been around the 130€ mark the whole year. With UV applied, the card uses around 120W TBP while delivering a decent performance. The RX 5500 XT is DoA.
