Carlos from saints row 2 was it for me. That moment where he looks you in the eyes and uses all his remaining strength to nod to you. To let you know he’s okay with you pulling the trigger to put him out of his misery always made me cry as a kid and still makes me shed a tear till this day. All he wanted was to prove he was loyal to you and make his passed brother proud.

When me and my friend first played dying light together, Jade dying broke us, it filled us with hatred while playing the rest of the story. The last mission we powered through all the zombies not noticing them just so we could avenge jade.

The Last of Us intro was so devastating to me that it set to whole mood of the experience. I started the game being broken and sad. Totally one of the best gaming experience in my life.
