The Evil Within 2 - Before You Buy

I remember pre-ordering this and being at GameStop that Thursday night to pick it up. The guy behind the counter looked super surprised and said “I didn’t realize anyone actually bought it.” I got it, played it all night, and loved every second of it. Definitely one that’s slept on by too many people.

I had this game for over years without having opened it and finally gave it a try during this quarantine and it was a very fun game. The open world was cool and I was addicted to going around to every inch of the map clearing it up from the infected people. Definitely recommend if you find it on sale.

Played so far as the first side quest - So far I like it a lot, but I do agree that I would like it more as a straight lined game (or what you call it) instead of a open world - They did do a good job on making it feel scary tho.

i’m 5 hours in and i honestly really enjoy the open world part of the game because it rewards you for exploring and the side quests are actually worth doing unlike other open world games
