Watching this for the eventual PS5 release. I’ve only ever played World, but I loved it. Happy to see this looks like more of that with a few tweaks here and there. Can’t wait!

iv been playing since MH 1 and honestly i am deeply enjoying this game so far, it has all the good things about world and the old games while improving on them a lot. single player felt super balanced and the lack of need to farm stuff and just gather on the go is amazing. New Monsters are so cool and the old ones got revamped too which makes for a new experience in a way. all in all a very solid game. my favorite weapon the hunting horn got a huge buff also :D Edit: almost all armors and weapons have a unique look unlike the lazy bad designs in world

To all new players this is my veteran tip: do not give up. This game demands you learn from failure and it rewards you for sticking through. Learn monster movement patterns, understand your weapons limitations, and make sure to take breaks in between your attacks to check what move the monster is about to use.

I don’t know, I actually liked the whole aspect of investigating and tracking monsters. It made it feel like an actual HUNT, instead of boss fight the game. Same with crafting buffs from the flora and fauna of the biomes.

First quest: die 3 time wasted 2h “This game suck” Beat the monster on third try “ this is the best games ever” Basically my day 1 experience

As a long time fan of the series, I agree with a lot of your points you put out. Capcom has also been generous to ease the learning curve for players I mean, marking the gathering materials on the map for gathering quests is something I did not expected them to do, good on them. As some people mentioned here, it is the classic MH formula so veteran hunters will definitely love this game, even with the fancy pants magic bugs and hyperspeed dogs.
