i wonder if Nintendo thought Callie was going to lose. she seems to be the cute, extroverted likeable pop star in the duo. even the games director or creator were rooting for her to win showing how liked she was at Nintendo. must of been shocking for people at Nintendo to realise that Team Callie had lost.

I relate to Marie much more, but I honestly love Callie so much. She brings so much energy and optimism to the squid sisters duo that it’s impossible to not feel more pumped with her upbeat nature. They balance each other out so well you really can’t have one without the other.

Callie is like that younger person across the street who comes over only to bring treats and you really like them but are really shy to talk to them, and they would be delighted to play with you anytime and have played with them at least once but are still overwhelmed to keep going even though it is safe to go visit.
