I like the fact GTA4 was dark and gritty. I quite liked the fact it was toned down and it wasn’t over the top with jets and tanks and crazy weapons. It felt more real, the guns sounded cool! I liked the boat motion of the cars, it felt more dramatic.

What always amazed me about this game were all the unique pedestrians, with their own interactions and reactions to what you did to them. Incredible attention to detail throughout in this gem of a game that will have you playing it over and over.

Another car physic detail: any time your car catches enough air for the suspension to fully decompress, you can see that the tires travel in arcs that are realistic to the type of suspension whatever you are driving has. Meaning that rear tires of trucks equipped with live axles will hang straight down (parallel to the body), while tires of cars with McPherson struts move in a realistic arc.

I’ve spent easily over 24 hours of my life messing with the swing set glitch. Still to this day it is hilarious and fun to do!

I remember getting an xbox 360 with this game, getting home and being blown away with the graphics and the physics, it was too much to process for me at that time. Absolutely loved this GTA, hope they keep the good work.
