the tomcat has the same accelaration as the kfir. also i tried at 6000 metres in a kfir, hit mach 2.35 (like 2500 kph)

The B17 was perhaps the biggest disappointment of the game. It gets shot down within the blink of an eye. Just as the B29 btw which can even meet guided rockets so that you never had the slightest chance in the first place. So when this video tries to portray them as incredibly sturdy flying death traps for attacking planes then I can only wonder if the devs actually play their own game. Shooting down bombers in this game is simply a turkey shoot. There’s no skill or tactical approach required.

Speaking of the B-17, has anyone else noticed that the bomb bays in the B-17E don’t visually open, even though the doors are listed as open and you’re able to drop bombs?

I think this game needs the XP-56 Black bullet and the XF5U Flying Pancake. Two aircraft which would be pretty interesting to see but never added in the game.

The B-17 is quite strong, the B-17E can get an air kill against weaker enemy’s (like A6Ms) add two bases down and you have a wonderful grinder.
