  • Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is a third person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games. This game launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game features has two new characters Alpha and Bravo, as they battle deadly Mexican drug cartels. Alpha and Bravo are part of T.W.O, sent to take down The Scythe, a viscous cartel full of tenacious foot soldiers and ruthless drug lords. Dropped into Mexico, Alpha and Bravo must immediately begin to infiltrate the cartel, but with incredibly intelligent AI, communication between them is a necessity. As Alpha and Bravo, you and a partner must work together to take them down as gangs spray round after round at you.
Army of Two The Devil's Cartel is third-person co-op action-shooter that utilizes the new Frostbite 2 engine for maximum destruction. You and your partner have to shoot and destroy everything in your path to bring down a violent drug cartel that's taken control of Mexico. In partner-based mid missions, each player has to take on and meet individual objectives to achieve a common goal. The more effective your teamwork, the greater your reward as the new Overkill mode thrusts devastating power upon you for truly grandiose mass destruction. Play in 2-player local split-screen or online co-op.

I love the melee animations in these third person games. The only first person games with good melee animations are Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite.
