No Man's Sky Nintendo Switch Review - Is It Worth It?

Have it for PC and Switch and I have been having a great time with it on the Switch. Some minor crashes every once in a great while. But auto save keeps things pretty much right where it crashed. Outside of that, they knocked it out of the park. Great work guys.

I never played NMS when it was released. I bought it on Switch and i am still amazed by the pure sense of discovery that this game gives me.

After playing about 20 hours at this point, I’m really enjoying it and I’d say it’s definitely worth the purchase, but there are also some pretty significant issues which the reviewers either downplayed or did not encounter. The game has crashed on me about 6 or 7 times (meaning a crash during a play session is not uncommon), the price discount when exchanging ships/multi tools stopped working for me after the Waypoint update, there are items that don’t appear in my inventory but appear when I am selling items, my starship randomly changed color after reloading a save, etc. Some other more minor non-bugs (I think) some people might care about: Nexus missions and capes are currently unavailable on the Switch.

I started playing at 10pn, planning on playing just an hour, as I was already tired. But I played until almost 4am. The time flew. What a game!

Imagine spending all this time laboring over this game and you finally get to see that: "9 out of 10" I would be able to die happy. A true success story.
