The “complete the pokedex” mission feels like “defeat ganon” like obviously but my hope is like with botw the enviroment and side quests and stuff it fleshes out the world and makes revisiting areas fun

I feel the same way, cautiously optimistic. Ive been done with mainline pokemon for a while but this has a chance to be great, we will have to see

I really hope it is a good game with fun main quests and a whole variety of side quests not just catch Pokemon.
