I love how the backwards compatibility game was fight for ny. Love that game. Also ya, so disappointed when b/w compatibility was removed from newer models. I learned that the hard way and it made me so sad at the time.

i remember the time that the online multiplayer was free. i remember the time that installing a game would also install a software update. i remember the time when hovering over the game would actually have a music playing in the background. the time that voice chat parties was not a thing. the time that playing music and videos was incredible in comparison with the xbox

The PS3 was the console that got me into gaming more. I want to sell my PS4 get a Pro not interested in PS5 atm. I’m mostly on PC atm for the last 3 years nearly. PS3 was great for its exclusives and was a great comeback to competition at the end compared to the failure it was in the first 2 - 3 years. Starting to play the PS3 in 2009 - 2010 till the end of the gen was a banger.

yeah i remember all of that happening lol but to admit i still fondly love the ps3 and still have over 50 games on it and i keep buying controllers and consoles when they die of old age. Id love for SONY to make a new playstation that lets you play all generation of games from 1-2-3-4 and the new one and id happily fork out the cash for that just to be able to play my large collection of old ps games and be able to play some old classics that hold close to my heart with so many fond memorries.
