For me, control had an awesome moment, where after you finish the “final” boss, the end credits roll, but slowly begin getting corrupted and there’s a whole extra mission after the game that also unlocks some new side quests and things to do

I still remember to this day how amazed and happy I was when i first discovered the whole Kanto region bonus thing after beating Pokemon Silver for the first time. That was truly great for me since I was crazy about the original Pokemon series and like every new addition less.

My favorite post game content came from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Unlocking Oathkeeper and Oblivion was so sick, and redoing missions with them made the game so much more exciting.

Should have mentioned that Nier has 5 consecutive endings, and after ending D, it deletes your saves and makes you start ending E on a new game!
