Resident Evil Village - Before You Buy

For me, re7 nailed atmosphere and horror a little better than village. I was never truly scared except one section of the game and I think everyone knows what section I’m talking about. I was a little disappointed that the horror less effective than re7 but overall was still a solid game

I “just started” first lord down and I’ve been enjoying this game thoroughly, I like it better than 7 just because of the increased exploration and to me it has almost a darksoulsy kind of feel which I like a lot

Also, a tip for everyone playing on console: turn off the Camera Acceleration in the options, it makes gunplay so so much better!

Loved the game, beat it on Hardcore my first play through . Completely agree with the experience on Hardcore i feel that’s how the game should be played first through. RE7 had more horror to the game but RE8 felt to me like RE4 just first person. Idk if anyone else felt the same way but for me it did . Solid 9/10 for me I’m already playing it on Village of Shadows Difficulty. Playing Village just made me want Silent Hill First Person so bad lol

I love that capcom only marketed pretty much the first quarter of the game instead of showing us almost everything like most trailers and stuff do.
