Metroid Dread Nintendo Switch Review - Is It Worth It?

My first ever metroid game, and wow, what a game it is. I am on the final boss battle, but have loved every second of it. They nailed the soundtrack and atmosphere vs the EMMI robots

I am impressed what Mercury Steam did with the Metroid franchise. Metroid Dread has shown us how the Spanish studio has improved since their Castlevania Lords of Shadow Days.

The game devs did EXACTLY what they were supposed to do. They perfected the systems put in place in Samus Returns and nailed what people love about this franchise. My only complaint is that I’ll eventually finish the game and will have to wait a few more years until the next one!

While the regular enemies are nothing too insane, the boss fights are pretty big jump in difficulty. I think i have died to every single boss at least once because they hit like a truck. Some of them start doing like 1-2 energy bar worth of damage with a single attack and you just cannot really mess up too much.
