State of Decay 2 - Before You Buy

I played the original and really liked it despite its faults, and I’m only now getting around to starting the sequel. I think the thing I’m hoping for most is a more thoughtful inventory. You can fill up your backpack with heavy weapons and assault rifles on a good scavenging trip. But you could also find one of each type of snack and have to head home because you have no more slots. Hopefully when I boot up SoD2 things are a little different.

You guys should do a new review of the game, after all the patches it’s like day and night how different it is from release day. The devs really listened to their fans and made it a great game.

I like the game. If survival and or zombie adventure games are your thing you’ll instantly fall in love with the amount of exploring and progression. As you said it gets repetitive but those who like this style of game won’t get bored quickly, and with the game now being free on Xbox game pass (if you have it) I definitely recommend downloading this game and trying it out even a year later -Edit- I say another comment saying “State of Okay” pretty accurate statement 😂

I am ok with resources not respawning. But do the same with zombies. They are infinite, everywhere everytime.

For what it is, the game is great. Played about 14 hours and still addicted. Newcomer to state of decay but this is kinda what I wanted a zombie game to be as opposed to something like dayz. Kinda feels like playing your own walking dead. Great stuff
