I remember playing this on the ps3 and being totally absorbed. Years on I enjoyed it just as much on the switch. I didn’t really play it in handheld because it’s so nice on the big screen. If you’re a ghostbusters fan this is a must play. It’s a really short game but the story and gameplay is so fun. It goes on sale a lot for €9.99 so definitely keep an eye out for that. Great review as always 😁

Abaolutely fantastic game no matter how you play. A lot of reviewers don’t understand how great this game really is. However, it sucks that the Switch version lacks achievements/trophies. Kind of unforgivable...

Bought the game in 2009 for PS3 and I also got the Ghostbusters blu-ray with that in a bundle. Perfectly happy with both of them.

after I rebooted the game I actually noticed that every single issue I had with the game up and disappeared. audio works perfectly now. Lip syncs aside from Illyssa is 100% on point now.

The biggest change was unmentioned: the main theme song no longer plays on EVERY. SINGLE. LOADING. SCREEN. I remember dying a lot playing on Professional the first time around and every time that song played, it got a little bit more annoying to the point where I had to reach for the mute button every time I died.

I actually changed my own mind on remasters. For remakes, accurate indicators are rebuilding the same game from the ground up or using the same story and concept as the original but using a different form of gameplay. Remasters are just as varied. Some are like Ocarina of Time 3D or FF8 Remastered, massively updated visuals with noticeable changes and improvents to gameplay. But still, remastered games can just be updated performance and small quality of life changes. In that sense, I guess this does count as a remaster but just barely. To the point where it might as well be a port.
