I just realized the whole reason why the i5 9400f and ryzen 3 3300x have less frames it’s because the gpu isn’t being used as much as the i5 10400f if you look at snow runner all three are neck and neck with the frame rate because the gpu usage is identical on all three

Proper competitor would have been the 3600(X), and not an 4c 3300X... ;) Why? Because you can see in some benchmarks, that the GPU load (65-75%) does not rise as high as compared to the intel 10400f (85%+) at least, while the CPU load goes as high as 90%+... This states some kind of CPU bottleneck ^^ And even on a price point, the 170€ (/ 180$?) 3600X would have been more appropriate :)

Can we get the same CPUs with a very basic ram timings tightening/ram oc for all? Then we will have a clear winner ,that costs less and performs better

When the games are properly optimized the frame rates across all platforms reflect it but when a game is unoptimized it shows up as well.

Always great to see some benchmark on new cpu. Can you make the testing bench on budget cpu with the same budget gpu please. 😁 For example use 1660/1660Ti/1660Super/RX 5500/RX 5600 XT. Because i think if i have RTX 2080. I definitely want my cpu at least 9700k/10700k/3700x/3800x. So the opposite if i have 10400f/3300x i will buy at least rtx 2060/1660 super or rx 5500xt/5600xt
