I love how Liu Kang thoroughly embraces his new status as a god. I always felt like he was kind of pushed aside in most games before MK9.

I’m so curious to see how the next Mortal Kombat will turn out. Being that this is the Great Kung Lao, will we be able to see events prior to MK 1? Will the roster be completely new? Will people who grew up with MK as I did (I’m 29 now) be able to accept that? Guess time will tell 😏

I wonder if Liu Kang letting Shang Tsung win until the very end was also a reference to the "He must win" spoken by the elder gods to Raiden in the previous games.
