Is Nintendo Switch Online's Expansion Pack Too Expensive?

Even if there’s ‘plans for the future’, you don’t try and set the pricing based on those plans. You set the price based on what’s currently available. This is not a deal I’ll be taking up, I’d rather own the DLC than rent it if I want to pay for it.

Yes. I would have considered buying it even if it was $10 more, but this is insane. I wish they would have polled their users about this like they did for the price point of Warioware

Had the price gone up $10, I could get behind it. But an extra $30 just for some older titles that I already own is insane. The only benefit is being able to play these games online with friends, and even that is limited to a few games.

The thing is, I was so set on getting the expansion pack day one, I didn’t care what the price hike might be. Then I saw what the price was and now I’m second-guessing, because it is so outlandish.
