I absolutely despise the direction that they are going with AC. I loved this series for a long time, all the way up to the rpg games, and then I started to lose interest and that makes me sad. Origins had an ok story but everything else that pulled it away from the previous games was terrible from the series... I loved the setting of Odyssey but not much else and I appreciated the fixes to these systems done in Valhalla but the live service bs they have been doing ruins it. In short, unless they acknowledge that where they have been going and are going with these series is not what it should be and go back to the way it used to be, then I am going to continue losing interest into this series, as sad as I am about that.

The assassins could be interesting, that brotherhood multiplayer mode for the time was amazing especially with friends. Maybe a battle royale kinda squads of 4 assassin multiplayer might be a little promising but too little info to go on at the moment.

If my game ever suddenly pauses and I get a 30 second ad for antidepressants, (or anything else) I’m quitting videogames.

I don’t believe a word they said. I love how they expressed the verbiage “TV Style ads” a very specific delivery style but doesn’t cover a broader scope by saying “ads” in general. If I start seeing any kind of ads in a game I spent $60+ for Im not buying a single EA game ever again.
