It would be cool if you partnered those CPU with a real 1080p card like 5600xt or 1660s/ti soo we can see how they hold up in those cards that they might able to fully utilize.

Something to remember about the 3300x is that here it is clocked 450MHz faster than the 3100 -- the 3100 will nearly match the 3300x if clocked at the same frequency.

Thanks for this benchmark. Please test with 3100 "OC" to 4.3 Ghz and 3300x stock, for clock to clock comparison. 1800p high settings. Please use GPU 1660 Super, since this is most likely to be paired with these processors. Buyers will get some more insight on what they will can expect on this pairing.

All of the CPUs are budget oriented,so maybe you should also use budget oriented GPUs like 1660 or rx5600xt cz not many people would buy a 120 usd cpu and a 950usd gpu for their build

Bought over a year ago at 155€ the i5 9400f, still very good for gaming, but AMD gets better and better

I think these gen cpus will be interesting revisit after 3-5 years, when games should be even more multithreaded and graphic cards much more powerfull.
