In the above video, Jonathan Ferguson--a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries--breaks down the guns of Cyberpunk 2077 and compares them to their potential real-world counterparts.

11:56 Funnily enough when i was at firing range this is what my instructor said they thaught him in the special forces. If you have to reload faster (cause you are in CQB scenario with enemies coming from behind the door etc.) you just press the magazine release and flick the weapon while the other hand is already reaching for the fresh magazine to load in. Its quite beliveable to me since the instructor managed to reload his M4 in like about a second like that

13:16 If you go frame by frame (comma and dot keys) you can actually see that the shot gun DID NOT take off a limb. It just looked that way, because the shin went up very fast. You can see the limb still attached when the body lies still on the ground.

When we was talking about the shotgun, it didn’t actually remove the limb in game. Just blew it backwards

The ingame lore tab for the pulsar even admits that it looks like “someone first dismantled your typical machine gun, then had a blindfolded kindergartener mash it back together.”

I like this guy. “It is fiction after all” what most experts that react to video games choose to ignore.
