When I got my OG Switch the first thing I noticed about it was how cool the colour temperature was. Then when I moved over to my Switch light I was immediately struck by how warm the colours were.

Battery life should be considerably longer with the OLED considering it uses less power when the screen is dark.

as an exclusively handheld player using the launch day model (with the worse battery life than the model sold today), and as someone nearsighted (need it close to my face and larger = better), I am so excited for this model. It will solve basically every problem I had with the original one. Bigger screen AND longer battery life... remember that the launch day switch has pretty awful battery life, so this will actually be two major improvements to players like me. I think if you are like me and do play exclusively handheld, AND have a launch day unit (as opposed to the newer model with improved battery), then this is actually a must-have upgrade.

Jon’s questions are spot on. You can tell he put some thought into what the average consumer would like to know in regards to if they should upgrade or not. Really appreciate it

As a science teacher I wholeheartedly approve of Alex correcting himself regarding why metals feel cold! Some top notch science knowledge on display there

I cant wait for my switch oled to come i pre ordered one. Them small changes are most likely to be a big deal for me i play my switch in handheld mostly and on the desk with the kickstand. Usually while im browsing youtube and just trying to decide what to do on the pc lol. I also play the switch in bed and sometimes outside on a sunny day so im curious as to how the brightness is.
