Microsoft Just Bought Activision Blizzard for $68 Billion

I’m a PlayStation fan but more importantly I’m a gaming fan and I hope this acquisition helps Activision Blizzard solve their working environment problems and brings back creativity to their studios. I feel like AB has a lot of potential but lately they have been surviving on the success of a few IPs like CoD which is unfortunate. Also, I don’t think this gets Microsoft anywhere near a monopoly on gaming. Nintendo, PS, Tencent, etc. are still huge and competitive.

I imagine game pass is the main reason for buying them, having all call of dutys and the rest of Activision’s library massively increases its value to casual consumers
