One thing that is specific to "English as second language" gamers was how sometimes we would play a game and not really understand the whole plot and you play it years later and go "OH", cause nowadays a lot of games get a good set of localisations and you have google translate, youtube vids of gameplay in your language etc.

I really miss the days of being able to beat a game and instantly restart it. I don’t know what happened but I rarely can do it now.
