There's A Rumor Microsoft & Nintendo Are Up To Something...

I’ve been a gamepass subscriber since it’s launch, and as an equally (if not more) invested Switch player I don’t know that it would be something I would necessarily need, only because of the fact that I buy most of my Switch games physically. However, I can see where that could be a viable service if it doesn’t (like you said) take money away from some of the smaller developers that really need it to continue operating.

Yeah getting rare games on switch would definitely be awesome, banjo, conker, perfeck dark, get force gemini, etc would be awesome to have on switch, as for game pass, i feel like 65% of the games on game pass would probably not run well on switch it doesnt seem especially practical to me, but hey who knows

That sounds absurd. As someone who worked at Xbox for 16 years, I cannot see that happening. XCloud maybe, but not Game Pass. Too many technical, developmental, legal, logistical, financial and customer experience hurdles to be feasible.

Personally, I think if we’re talking Game Pass on Switch, it would be more likely to be in the form of an X Cloud app. But I think that’s pretty unlikely. I think the most likely scenario of those mentioned would be Rare Replay on Switch, IMO.

I had never thought about how Game Pass on switch would affect the eshop. That’s an interesting point and I have no idea what the resolution is for that

I honestly would love it if Microsoft asked Nintendo to help them make a new entry in the Banjo-Kazooie series that launches as an Xbox/Switch exclusive
