Got it for 80 and at that price it was worth it to me cause it just feels really nice and having the extra buttons is a nice bonus

Personally, I could take or leave HD rumble and nfc. Doesn’t mean much to me. The overall material quality and anti-friction rings on the fusions are almost worth the price alone for me. Both of my standard pro controllers have grind marks, so the anti-friction is really great and feels super smooth. Not to mention the D-pad feels better, and the buttons don’t feel quite as loose as the standard pros.

This was a great video. I am pretty much in the same mind as you. The paddles would become a problem for me too and would probably remove them. A plus is, they thought ahead and made it possible. Nintendo does that. The no rumble? Eh, the most I use it for is Animal Crossing and guessing what kind of fish may come up. All of the accessories I am all in on the price for that. Again, they are probably planning ahead for other stuff. Nintendo does that. But to replace the Pro Controller.....not yet.

As a person who played Fenyx immortals rising on the switch I could’ve definitely used this controller for the extra buttons. I remapped the controls but i still just needed a couple extra buttons. Also my regular pro controller has developed some minor drift so I’m willing to try something different.

No rumble or NFC?? Yikes. I wouldn’t pay that much to begin with but I cannot even imagine paying that much with those cost cuts.

I think the back paddles could be a bit helpful for some speedruns or for precise movements in a fighting game or something, though their placement could be problematic
