RX 6800 XT vs RTX 3080 vs RTX 3090 - Test in 8 Games l 4K l

i just recently got a 6800xt, and this thing is really great, well worth it for longevity in my opinion. it does run 4k ever so slightly slower but still 4k ultra at 60+fps on most games.

It will be interesting to see how comparisons between AMD and Nvidia go over the next few years as more games are programmed with AMD hardware in mind. Both the leading consoles being built with AMD hardware could only help AMD.

It really feels strange to watch an AMD GPU use less power. I wonder what the 6700XT will look like, both in terms of price and clocks.

It’s very interesting to see the memory clock speed on the Nvidia cards are still staggeringly faster than the AMD card. Pretty cool stuff. It’s great to see that AMD has a card that is competing quite nicely. Although unfortunately I think that I would still choose the Nvidia cards because of the additional feature sets that come with their cards compared to what AMD has to offer

Many might not care about this, however we must keep in mind that the rx 6800xt is keeping up or staying slightly behind the RTX 3080/3090 while drawing up to 120W less? This honestly means that the architecture AMD has created is more power efficient and as long as it scales well the RX 6900XT will very possibly be the new fastest GPU on the market.
