Giving Batman: Arkham Origins A Second Chance

As WB Montreal teases its upcoming "Court of Owls" Batman game, Mike and Tamoor return to the studio's last outing with the Dark Knight, in a series of love letters and epistolary arguments.
WB Montreal's upcoming Batman game has become the talk of the town following its recent social media campaign and (accidental) hints from The New 52 writer Scott Snyder. So, between the lack of major releases, and a slew of delays, Mike Mahardy and Tamoor Hussain decided to return to the studio's previous Batman game: Arkham Origins.
In the video above, Mike and Tamoor (aka Batman and Robin) recount their recent replays of the seven-year-old game. Their experiences vary wildly, as do their vats of Batman knowledge, so expect an argument or two, as well as a couple of dirty, dirty burns.
  • GameSpot will be covering WB Montreal's upcoming announcements, whether they arrive anytime soon, or during this year's E3 showcase.

I love the new look of Batman, yeah the story was ok, but the atmosphere, music, and gameplay was absolutely outstanding. 8/10

I was so happy to see this! This game is almost a masterpiece. I am so mad that everyone hates it for it being a spin off or not being made by rockstar or having a few glitches or it being too similar to the masterpiece of Arkham city. This is the second best Arkham game without question. It’s a perfect origin story, has incredible bossfights, and is full of great voice acting. When finishing I was blown away by how great it was and went right to the new game plus and even the I am the knight mode. It is completely beyond me of why so many people did not feel the same way

i loved Origins. My second favorite in the series after Asylum. The story is fantastic and the boss battles are the best in the series. I also quite liked the murder mysteries where you could do detective work. Also, Origins had the best Mad Hatter sequence imo

Arkham Origins is, ironically, the most memorable to me. The overall ambiance and the soundtrack, especially Jokers "Carol of the Bells", left deeper impressions in me than any of the other Arkham games, even if the gameplay is considered the worst out of the 4.
