After Yone died, he awoken himself in the spirit realm, being faced by an Azakana( a race of lesser demons). After he defeated it, the azakana took form of the red mask, which he was forced to wear on forever.

I didn’t realize until now but the scenery are the other spirit blossom champions! 0:41 is Cassiopeia with her spirits worshipping her, 0:46 shows Wolf (Kindred), 0:50 shows Lillia sleeping in the ground, 0:58 has a lot of statues of Teemos, 1:07 I first thought was Riven but the shrine has Thresh’s lantern. The detail in this animation is amazing!

This really brings back the Bleach vibe of how the Hollows are created, how they feed on negative emotions, how they evolve and so on, mostly because they use the asian folklore as inspiration. In this video, we see the journey of Yone and how he became part demon, and how he now hunts them down to protect Ionia, just like Ichigo did.

This might seem kind of silly to some, but man, props to Yones voice actor for really delivering those screams hard. You can really feel the emotion in his performance, even though it was very brief.
