i5 10400F vs Ryzen 5 3600 Test in 10 Games

Yea the intel chip other than upgrade path is a really good budget option now. But hard to beat ryzens path. I had a 1700x and swaped out for a 3600 on my og asus x370 with no issues just bios update.

I support any brand as long as they offer some impresive price to performance stuff,at first AMD but now 10th gen intel seems interesting,but still curious about the ryzen 4000th series on desktop.because the mobile ver is just too good to be true

Gamers Nexus did a really good video comparing these and other processors with various RAM timings and speeds in really good detail that really demonstrates just how strong the Ryzen 3600 is compared to the new Intel line up. I like these benchmark videos but there is way more to this story in the end.

Even though Intel preformed better across the board, 3300x is probably a better buy for pure gaming over the 3600. Or buy 10600k if you want a significant fps boost over any AMD chip currently. 10400f is not better enough at gaming to loose out on general purpose benefits of Ryzen, unlike 10600k.
