Who's To BLAME For Anthem - EA or BioWare?

You know.. I’ve been playing from the official release of Anthem. And while I enjoy the game, there is a lot of lackluster things to it. I want to stick with the game and weather the storm in hopes of better things to come. Maybe some patch notes to fix the bugs and damage/health scales of the difficulty levels, some extra content to add on the story after the initial storyline. Or even like a player interaction system outside of missions or the launch bay. I think Anthem is a good game. The concept is there, the mechanics are agreeable, and even the combat is stable until you reach the masterwork 2 difficulty. I just hope that the game developers can make something more of the game than what there already is

Bioware is hardly the same company (or people) it was a few years ago. EA can be blamed for monetization for sure, but new-Bioware is only to blame for broken game-design and writing. Destiny never bricked consoles and that was just as monetized.

I really like Anthem so far. I have it on PS4 and have had one night so far where it kept kicking me out of missions and starting over. Other than that it hasn’t been glitching or giving me any issues. It looks great. I’m having fun playing it and looking forward to future updates and added content. Don’t get all the hate. Seems like the majority are just ripping it because they hate EA’s micro transactions or Bioware for ME Andromeda.

I am convinced something happened in development that caused them to scrape alot and redevelop. Six years is just to long to have this many issues on release. The gameplay its self is really good and near perfectly smooth. I play interceptor and the amount of dodging, jumping, short flying, landing, weapon swaps, and weaving abilities in and out of all this is near flawless. What ever happened I think they decided to concentrate on fluid gameplay and then work on the rest. They are scrambling to fix everything wrong right now the best they can but I think the damage is already done.

I love anthem, i love the gameplay i love the look, i love the story. The problem is that there are so many big bugs that make the game literally un-playable at times but if they fix all of the current bugs i think that you have a pretty god game
