I paid 90$ for the i3-10100F in December 2020 and I am very happy for its price/performance/watt ratio. I am looking to buy the 10700KF to get the full potential of my PC, but in the meantime, I am playing everything for only 90$.

Above the i5 the performance gain is negligeble, at least for these games. Maybe it’s different for something like MSFS 2020.

Great benchmark! The problem might be that the GPU is bottlenecking the performance in the case of i5, i7 and i9, which is why the performance is identical. This is not the case with i3. However, as new GPUs and games come out, the difference between i5, i7 and i9 might become meaningful.

The 0.1% on the 10600K (8700K) was getting better numbers in more games than the i7 most of the time. It even got one or two on the i9.
